Can The Truth Be Found?

This subject is the one I have most experience in and it was very difficult to decide what to write about today.  There are so many things to share.  I decided to discuss a little about the different religions of the world and suggest where the truth can be found.

I could get into truth and how people perceive it to be subjective or relative, but I am not going to get into that.  I wanted to share more about what religions are saying truth is and give you a chance to make your own choice and make your own conclusion about truth.

There are many religions in the world.  You could almost says thousands.  Many are classified as cults, but that still leaves many left.  Of all the religions there are only a few that are faith-based religions.  Others base everything on works (what you do in this life).  All have their own concept of the afterlife.  And all of them have their own views on what eternity holds.  Then you have the Atheist who believes none of the idea that there is a higher Power out there governing every event in the universe.

The majority of the world consists of Catholics, Muslims, and Biblical Christians.  These are the main religions of the world.  Some categorize all of these into the category of Christians.  These are also some of the faith-based religions that believe there is only one God.  Other religions that don't fall that far behind are Hinduism, Buddhism and Pantheism.  These are polytheistic, which means they believe there are many gods.  All of these claim to have the right way to get to "Heaven," and claim to have the truth.  But who really has the truth?  Is there more than one way to Heaven?

I would venture to say that there is one of these religions that seems to have the most consistency in history and to be the most constant.  That is Biblical Christianity.  This is a faith that is experienced through the Bible or the Word of God.  This book claims to hold truth and be truth.  No other book does that.  It is also the only religion in the world that is not based on works to get you into heaven.  It is solely on faith that the God-man Jesus Christ died on a cross for our sins and rose again from the dead, conquering death and sin.

Christianity (also known as Baptists, Methodists, Lutherans, etc.) is also the only religion in which their prophet or savior or whoever you want to call him, does not die and stay dead.  Jesus did die, but he rose again the third day and was witnessed by hundreds and could be thousands before he ascended into heaven in the clouds (which was also witnessed by many).  It is the most documented religion with every fact and prophecy that has been fulfilled done with 100% accuracy.

The "holy" book of Christianity, the Bible, has lasted over 2000 years and has remained constant.  Yes there has been different translations, but each translation says the same thing, just in a different way.  This book has stood the test of time and even several attempts in history to annihilate it from the planet without success.

I could go on and on about this.  There just is no comparison, but don't take my word for it.  Check it out for yourself.  Read the Bible to find out what it's all about.  Study the different religions and search for the truth.  It IS out there just waiting to be found, but it is up to you to start the search.
